Medibeg NV was founded in 1947 and has been manufacturing high quality rubber products for over 50 years. The company starts with the production of medical parts, requiring extremely elevated quality and precision. Starting in 1954, Medibeg takes on the appliance market and begins producing door gaskets, seals and hoses for laundry equipment. Today, in this market, Medibeg is not only known as a reliable supplier, the company is also considered the primary problem solver and provider of development support for critical rubber components. |

In 1972, Medibeg further diversifies its product portfolio by adding rubber diaphragms for expansion chambers (tanks) to its production. Trendsetter in rubber technology and processes by that time, Medibeg is the first to use the injection molding technique for this type of product. The enormous competitive advantage created by this new technology within that industry provides Medibeg with market leadership, and the ability to retain that position in this market going into the 21st century. Today, Medibeg still is the leader in this market, both in Europe and in the US. |

In 1991, a major expansion completes at Medibeg NV, doubling production capacity. |

In 1997, Medibeg USA, Inc. is incorporated in Stoneville, NC. The new daughter company allows Medibeg to quickly expand its sales in the US market and to establish market leadership in both of its niche markets on a second continent. |
